In a July 23 report from PEOPLE, a source claimed that Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster are having “a quiet summer together” in North Carolina. They said, “Hugh and Sutton wanted to get away from the city.” The couple’s primary residence in New York City. They have appeared by each other’s side at the promotional events of their different projects since they starred in Broadway’s 2022 revival of “The Music Man” together.
The source further said, “Hugh has told friends he believes Sutton is the one and he admires her spirit and talent.” Allegedly, the Deadpool and Wolverine star “has been writing, reading scripts and spending time with Sutton outside.” The insider added that Foster “has a group of friends there” in North Carolina “so they have a fun social life as well.” The Tony Award-winning actress’s 9-year-old daughter “has spent time with” the couple. She shares the little girl with estranged husband Ted Griffin.

Jackman and Furness announced their separation in 2023 after 27 years of marriage. The former couple shares two kids, Oscar and Ava. Meanwhile, Foster filed for divorce from Griffin in October 2024, after 10 years of marriage. Jackman and Foster were first spotted holding hands during an outing in Los Angeles in January 2025.
This May, the “Thoroughly Modern Millie” star made her Met Gala debut alongside Jackman. She stunned in a sparkling champagne-toned gown. The one-shoulder dress featured a knot detail at the hip. Meanwhile, the “Les Misérables” actor sported a classic black suit with a bow tie and a crisp white shirt.
