Danica Patrick remains one of the most recognizable figures in motorsport despite stepping away from racing nearly a decade ago.
While Patrick was never a consistent front-runner in NASCAR or IndyCar, she still left a lasting impact on motorsport both through her achievements on the track and her success away from racing.
The 44-year-old, who retired from competitive racing in 2018, became one of the sport's most marketable stars, securing major endorsement deals throughout her career. She has since expanded her brand through modelling, entrepreneurship and ventures such as her own wine business.

Although Patrick's racing career ended eight years ago, she has continued to build a substantial fortune through endorsements, business ventures and media work. According to Celebrity Net Worth, the former IndyCar and NASCAR star has an estimated net worth of $80 million.
During the height of her racing career, Patrick reportedly earned more than $10 million annually, with her income split between racing earnings and lucrative sponsorship deals. Her marketability often made her as recognisable off the track as she was behind the wheel, with partnerships including Chevrolet, Coca-Cola, Nationwide Insurance and Tissot.
However, her most notable commercial partnership came with GoDaddy, where she became one of the brand's most recognisable faces through a series of Super Bowl advertisements. Patrick has also expanded her business portfolio with her own wine label, Somnium, which operates from a 24-acre vineyard in California, as well as an athleisure collection, "Warrior by Danica Patrick," through a partnership with G-III Apparel Group.
Why did Danica Patrick retire?
Patrick's full-time racing career came to an end after sponsorship issues disrupted her 2017 season and made it increasingly difficult to secure a competitive seat with a top-tier team.
She later announced the "Danica Double," revealing that her final races would be the Daytona 500 and the Indianapolis 500, with GoDaddy returning as her sponsor for the first time since 2015. Patrick admitted that racing "wasn't in my heart anymore," explaining that she no longer enjoyed the demanding day-to-day grind of competition and felt she lacked the control needed to achieve the results and progress required to continue at the highest level.
"It wasn't in my heart anymore. What I love about racing was that ability to progress and get better and finish better and better and ultimately win. And I just felt like that was becoming less and less something that was in my control," Patrick told ABC's Nightline at the time.
