The model emphasized that not everyone aspires to be skinny and received support from fans in the comments

Tess Holliday has no interest in being "skinny."
On Saturday, May 23, the model and body activist, 40, posted a TikTok video responding to a follower who criticized her body and suggested she take Mounjaro.
Mounjaro is an FDA-approved prescription medication for people with type 2 diabetes. It's a brand name for tirzepatide — also known as Zepbound — which is highly effective for weight loss by reducing appetite, increasing feelings of fullness and improving how the body breaks down sugar and fat. Over the past two years, Mounjaro and other similar weekly injections have become very popular for weight loss, both in and out of Hollywood.
“Babe it's 2025..in this age of Mounjaro… what excuse do you have,” one critic wrote underneath her videos.
“Because not everyone wants to be skinny babe💋” Holliday wrote over a clip of her posing in a sports bra. She added in the caption, “💕 hope this helps!”
The model also liked a few comments left by fans coming to her defense. “It's 2026, all sizes are beautiful,” one follower said. Another user commented, “PERIOD!!! Being skinny doesn't guarantee us happiness or health!!💁🏻♀️”

This isn't the first time Holliday has discussed weight-loss medications.
Last year she posted a TikTok video responding to a critic who commented that she should take Ozempic, another medication for people with type 2 diabetes.
“Just take the Ozempic, nobody will judge,” they wrote.
Holliday responded, “The funny thing is, you would judge. It's kind of like when you are plus size and not palatable, you're kind of screwed either way. You're damned if you do, damned if you don't.”
The mom of two later agreed with and responded to other followers who defended her in the comments.
“They judge us no matter what we do! Even when a plus size gets slim and goes to the gym, it's still wrong! Let us live our own lives 💕,” one user wrote before Holliday replied, “Yuppppp.”
