A mum-of-three has staged a sit-in protest towards the removing of her village basketball hoop, even after being actually fenced in.
Demolition of the one council-owned park in Yatton Keynell, close to Chippenham, Wiltshire, started after it was uncared for for years.
Georgina Dale observed the council ripping up her local play park and needed to attempt to save what was remaining.
The youngsters's play space had already gone by the time Georgina arrived, however she got here outfitted with a camping chair and ebook, and sat under the basketball hoop.
Wiltshire Council contractors then fenced her off inside the courtroom as she sat in protest.

After Georgina's protest made rounds in a area people group, native councillor Alistair Parker issued a press release reading: 'The work to take away the play gear in Clarks Leaze has now started.
'It had been hoped that the MUGA [multi use games areas] can be retained but on closer inspection it was clear that the tarmac (not now a most popular surface) was breaking apart and that if the MUGA was to be retained, a brand new surface would inevitably be needed.
'Within the circumstances it was deemed better to remove the previous MUGA and think about replacing it as part of the session course of on the longer term use of the whole area.'
The councillor burdened that the 'entire area' will stay out there for leisure use, and future usage shall be deliberate after the previous gear is removed.
At a parish council assembly on February 5, residents have been requested to put in writing to them with ideas for the area – and Georgina is urging locals to point out their help for a youngsters's play park.
